We had a lovely stay at this working farm, where Maggie served the best black pudding for breakfast! Just wish the shower had a bit more pressure, though.

You must try the breakfast! It’s a hearty feast with locally sourced goodies, including the heavenly black pudding. The room was warm and spacious, and waking up to the farm’s animal sounds was a delight. Plus, it’s just a short stroll to Fountains Abbey, which is a must-see!
Check-out was a tad early at 10am, but Maggie graciously extended it to 11am, so not all was lost!

Lovely escape to Ripon! 🌾🐄
Brekkie was just superb! So much choice, and the food was really top-notch. The room was massive and always warm—felt like a lekker little hideaway. Plus, the location is spot on for visiting Fountains Abbey. you can just pop over for a stroll!
Just a heads-up, it can get a bit dusty from the farm, so don’t rock up in your best shoes!

Fantastic stay with lovely hosts!
Just spent 2 nights here and it was awesome! The room was spacious and super clean, and the shower was great. Maggie's friendliness made it feel like home. Breakfast was a highlight—seriously delicious. A little more shelf space for toiletries would’ve been nice, but everything else was spot on. Picnic area outside was perfect for a quick bite!

The cozy farmhouse ambiance is enhanced by breathtaking views of open fields and nicely restored rooms offering both luxury and a homely vibe. Breakfast features an impressive locally sourced menu, catering thoroughly to dietary restrictions and serving top-notch dishes like fantastic black pudding.
The narrow staircases can pose a hassle for anyone with mobility issues, and the standard 10 AM check-out could leave you yearning for a few extra minutes of sleep. accessing local stores might require a car ride due to the limited proximity, and while the farm's environment is charming, be prepared for some noise from the daily operations. Connectivity can be patchy, which isn’t ideal for those who need robust internet, and the dust from the farm roads can make for a messy arrival if you’re not careful with your footwear.
